2022 Election e-Voting
The Municipality of Oliver Paipoonge passed By-law No. 80-2021 on October 12, 2021, for the use of alternative voting methods for the 2022 Municipal Election. Telephone and Internet Voting will be used for the 2022 Municipal Election. Intelivote Systems Inc. has been selected as the service provider of the Telephone and Internet Voting. A Help Centre will also be available at the Municipal Office to provide additional instruction and assistance prior to the Election.

The Municipal Clerk is appointed the Municipal Returning Officer by statute and the Clerk or designate is responsible for the administration and management of municipal elections such as accepting nominations of candidates running for office, preparing voters' lists, preparing ballots, selecting voter help centres, determining voting period and certification and distribution of election results. 2022 MUNICIPAL ELECTION
The next Municipal Election will be held on October 24, 2022. The next term of Council begins November 15, 2022 and concludes on November 14, 2026. Current council consists of FIVE members, Mayor and FOUR Councillors. You will be voting for the following races:
· Trustees for ENGLISH LANGUAGE PUBLIC SCHOOL BOARD
· Trustees for ENGLISH LANGUAGE SEPARATE SCHOOL BOARD
· Trustees for FRENCH LANGUAGE PUBLIC SCHOOL BOARD
· Trustees for FRENCH LANGUAGE SEPARATE SCHOOL BOARD
Opens May 1, 2022 and closes on Nomination Day at 2:00pm (local time) on August 19, 2022.
