Administration

The administrative department provides general information to the public regarding municipal operation and acts as a resource to Council, Senior and Departmental Management as well as the public. It offers preparation and management of all corporate records; policies and procedures; agendas, minutes and by-laws for all meetings of Council as well as public meetings and special meetings as directed.

Building

The Building Department provides information and guidance to the public relative to construction related matters. It also responsible for enforceing the Ontario Building Code through the review of construction plans prior to the issuance of a building permit, the inspection of construction projects, and the issuance of orders and laying of charges where voluntary compliance is not forthcoming.

By-Law Enforcement

The by-law enforcement officer for the Municipality is charged with the enforcement of non-criminal by-laws enacted by local governments. If you have any questions or concerns about a Municipal by-law or a complaint about a possible by-law infraction, please contact our by-law enforcement officer at the Municipal Office.

The Community Services Supervisor is responsible for coordinating recreational programs and services and the daily operation and maintenance of the NorWest Recreation Centre, Landfill Sites, Cemetery, Municipal halls, grounds and buildings.

Public Works

The Municipality of Oliver Paipoonge Public Works Department provides inspections, repairs and seasonal maintenance for roads, bridges and sidewalks. It is also responsible for Municipal signs, entrance permits and fire numbers.
