Cemetery

The Stanley Hill Cemetery is our Municipality's only cemetery and it offers plots to residents who currently reside within the Municipality of Oliver Paipoonge or those residents who have previously lived here. The cemetery is located at 4270 Hwy 11/17, between Pebblestone Road and Hwy 588.

Stanley Hill Cemetery 

The Municipality operates the Stanley Hill Cemetery under License #04139 issued by the Bereavement Authority of Ontario (BAO).

The cemetery offers traditional graves, cremation plots, and a columbarium wall.  Branch #225 of the Royal Canadian Legion (Kakabeka Legion) controls the distribution of plots within a section of the Stanley Hill Cemetery for the interment of Legion members, veterans and spouses.

STANLEY HILL CEMETERY

The Municipality of Oliver Paipoonge will be submitting a proposed cemetery by-law to the Registrar of the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002.  The proposed by-law may be reviewed or copied at the municipal office, 3250 Hwy 130.  For information or questions any interested parties may contact the following municipal official:

The proposed by-law is subject to the approval of the Registrar of the Funeral, Burial and Cremation Services Act, 2002.  The Registrar can be reached at the Bereavement Authority of Ontario at 647-483-2645 or 1-844-493-6356.
